Front pocket. Tyvek lining shown.

Tyvek backpack. Material chosen mainly due to its low cost, but also for being water repellent yet breathable. Compartment for sleeping bag storage located on rear in order to keep separate from main compartment. Part of homeless system project. Prototype V.1 (2011).

Personal project aimed at local homeless population. Constructed of Tyvek due to it's breathable water resistant properties.
Limited distribution due to lack of personal funds. V1 prototype (2011).

Large dimensions allow bag to be used as blanket/tarp, but do not allow for pictures to be easily taken. White color chosen to reflect light/heat in the summer.

Detail of sleeping bag baffle. Allows individual to source material from environment, then discard when leaving to keep size/weight low.

Detail - canvas dyed in indigo (vat 2).
